The farm is only five minutes walk from the medieval village of Tatti, "the village of swallows and silence", 30 minutes from the sea towns of Punta Ala, Castiglione della Pescaia and Cala Violina and from the town of Massa Marittima. It is one hour from Siena, Elba Isle, the Natural Uccellina Park and from Saturnia Spa. The area is rich in archaeological sites and medieval ruins. There's also a riding school which is only 15 minutes from the farm. You could have a ride around the mediterranean maquis or have a refreshing swim in the Accesa lake (its water is so incredibly blue!) There is also a golf course 20 minutes away. |
